We hope for many children and young people to come to Karlsøya this summer and therefore invite you to our democratic project!
On Monday and Tuesday, all children, young people and adults who sign up for the children's and young people's group will be able to write down what they want to do at the festival. On Tuesday evening, we will create a great program together, so that the ideas and wishes we have written down can become reality! By creating the program in this way, children and young people are also involved in the unique experience of creating the festival together.
In addition, we have something planned and several wonderful adults have signed up with workshops they would like to have. What we can reveal already is that together we will decorate the brand new and very cool lavvo which will be sewn by the company Favros in Mandalen. In addition, we can help create a body percussion performance, a movement workshop, make pizza and other good food, nail sticks and wood art and engage in graffiti painting. You will find out more about all this in the coming weeks.
Important: all children and young people under the age of 18 are part of the Karlsøy Festival completely free of charge and get three good, free meals every day 🙂 Adults are part of the service and pay NOK 600.
