Karlsøyfestivalen invites you to take part in an open sticker and poster competition ahead of the 2026 festival.
We are looking for contributions that are colorful, playful, and bold, where imagination is free to roam.
You don’t need to be a professional artist, and there is no single right answer.
You may submit stickers (approx. 10–15 cm, round or square) or poster designs (A4, A3, or any format you choose), and you are welcome to send in one or several entries. Use whatever medium you like: drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, collage, mosaic, digital tools, or any combination of these—everything is allowed.
Digital submissions should be sent as PNG or JPEG, 300 dpi files in the highest possible resolution so the material can be used for printing. You may include the text “Karlsøyfestivalen 2026 – August 4–9” and the website Karlsoyfestivalen.no, but this is not required. Feel free to include one or more of the following words: Anticapitalism, antifascism and anarchism.
The submission deadline is April 1, 2026.

The winners will receive two participant passes to Karlsøyfestivalen 2026 and a stack of stickers featuring their own artwork. Selected entries may also become part of the festival’s visual identity.
