Ahoy! The Karlsoyfestival community are happy to share an november update!
At the island, “home . between the lines” an audio-visual installation by Andrei Antrushin will be exhibited. This art-project was created in collaboration with Karlsoyfestivalen.
On the upcoming event in Tromsø, Radvent 6/12, Karlsoy AIR- artist in recidency, will shortly present our latest work-in-progress towards launching the islandrecidency. We are happy to become a part of the all year around activities that this island has to offer, especially when it comes to art, music and dance -activism.

Developed on Karlsøya island and exhibited at local Butikken (Galleri Galsa), the work invites you to explore the island through sound, video, and personal reflection — a poetic journey into the idea of home in its many forms.
The local community and guests were present at the opening event — an evening with a live music concert, an artist talk by Andrei Antrushin, and food and refreshments. The event lasted about two hours and was free and open to everyone.
This artwork will be possible to view for some time still.
